American foursome Transviolet are creeping nearer to the big time with new single 'Close'. Purveyors of pure melodic pop, this single sees them reaching even further into the dreamy stratosphere with high arching harmonies and anthemic heights despite the intimacy of the sexually-charged lyrics. There are clear parallels with homegrown Chvrches but the two aren't mutually exclusive. What they do share though is the kind of indie-pop crossover that will shift records.
